Invited to design the series of Conversas at TENT Rotterdam posters, I used an experiment with an out-of-format drawing journal. I built the journal from a secondhand 50-cent CD case and paper leftovers kept from other projects. The posters scale these small-scale marks into a public format. This experiment is part of an ongoing inquiry into mark-making and creativity within the limits of everyday life.
Conversas is a platform for stories and ideas. Each evening, three "Conversadores" share a research project, fascination, or issue for thirty minutes. There are no digital projectors; the focus is on direct, low-tech exchange.
