to communicate a music tour 
for: musician April Marmara
2023, 2024











For this tour communication, I started to select and manipulate photos taken by the artist and Portuguese photographer Elisa Azevedo for April Marmara’s Still Life (2023) vinyl cover.

I reinforce and continue the dramatic feel of the selected photos and the record lyrics by creating three drawings where the nature subjects blend with April Marmara’s figure: seashells are tears; branches are paths; flowers seem like her guardians. These are therefore active elements of her inner states rather than just objects of contemplation.

For the lettering, I create bold and sharp serifs — inspired by the spine of an old book I found while browsing in a public library — and finally worked on the final design and drawings for risograph (two posters) and serigraph printing (garments).
