My father inherited a large collection of ex-libris — used as an inscription on a bookplate to show the name of the book’s owner — from my grandfather, who used to trade them with friends very much like a trading card game. Fascinated with the value and printing richness of these objects, I wanted to contribute to his growing collection and designed him his own ex-libris.
